4 Random Thoughts, 1 Tool, and 1 Quote (July 8th, 2020)

With this whole pandemic going on, many sales engineers reached out to me after being found redundant or found that their employers cannot afford to pay them anymore because there was no business. I’ve been racking my brain on how I can help. So, in case you have not heard yet, We the SEs are launching the #NoSELeftBehind campaign. Here are some thoughts about that

4 Random Thoughts From Me:

1-If you’ve been affected by the corona pandemic, hit reply to this email and let me know. I am happy to help in any way.

2- The first way I can help is to schedule a 15-minute call with you, and have a 10 minute recorded chat so I can post that on LinkedIn. This is sort of an interview, and it is meant to showcase your personality to potential employers.

3- The second way I can help is by posting your “Live Resume” on the We The SEs Forums. If you’re comfortable talking to a camera about yourself, let me know.

4- The goal is to get these SEs exposure and hopefully help them get an interview with a company the recognizes their skills and hires them.

1 Tool:

If you are interested in creating a video and you’re not a one-take king, you can use editing software to stitch your takes together. There is a free tool called Davinci Resolve that I’ve been using for all my videos. It’s a powerful tool and you would not know that it’s free, especially if you’ve never paid for an editing tool.
