Welcome to fall! The weather’s getting cooler, colours in the trees are changing, and all sorts of great Fall traditions are starting up.  Just as the seasons change, WTSE shows keep coming, and this week is no different.  We had on Andy Ryan, Vice President of Customer Success at Relayr, to chat about his career journey, being customer-oriented, the importance of continuous growth, and more!

It’s always such a privilege to hear from those that have experienced a lot already as there’s so much to take from their insights, but before we jump into the 4/1/1, last week, Ramzi published a video about the SE Skills Pyramid.

 4 Random Thoughts From Me:

 
1- Learn the functions of those in the rest of your organization.  You never know what parallels you may find among those you work with, or even potentially roles that may better suit you.
 
2- Moving around in an organization is a great way to broaden your skillset and perspective of the market and that business.
 
3- Just as the title of this week’s show implies, learning shouldn’t ever stop.  Life is a long journey with few rules, why not try to be our best, and to do so, we must continuously grow.
 
4- If you’re ever looking to reinforce your learnings in any given topic, try your hand at teaching it to someone else.
